Dr Southwood examined my shoulder movement and checked what I could/couldn't do. She explained the cause and the prognosis. She gave me a leaflet about exercises to do. She didn't hurry me, although she was speedy & efficient. The only thing I can think of to suggest for improvement is that my appointment started (I think) 20 mins late; ideally lateness warrants a brief apology/acknowledgement of inconvenience. The lateness didn't particularly impact me today, but it might have done if I'd been on a tight schedule.

Dr Southwood was very thorough, sympathetic to my father who is 90 and has several medical conditions. On this day we were dealing with an infected wound. Dr Southwood prescribed medication to deal with the infection advice on how to treat the infected area and provided some dressings. She was very kind and we felt reassured.

I found Dr Southwood to be very caring,understanding and efficient.She answered all my questions on my condition in a clear and concise manner and carried out a review of all my medication.She did rush my appointment and dealt with my visit in a friendly manner. I would recommend this Doctor to anyone who was looking for a new doctor.I felt her attidude reflected well on the surgery as a whole.
